Terms of Service

Effective date: September 1, 2026
The short version OriginLeap is operated by Markus Behmann. The app is distributed on the Apple App Store by aLIVE-Service GmbH, which acts only as the app store distributor and isn't a party to this agreement. There's no account and no server — your data stays on your device. Plus is an optional subscription billed through the App Store. And to be clear: nothing in this app is medical advice — talk to an actual doctor before changing your exercise, sleep, or diet routine.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between you and OriginLeap, represented by Markus Behmann, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we," "us," "OriginLeap"). By downloading, installing, or using OriginLeap (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App. Using the App through Apple's App Store also means Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside them.

2. The App Store Distributor

The App is made available for download through the Apple App Store by aLIVE-Service GmbH (Gustav-Ricker-Str. 62, 39120 Magdeburg, Germany; Handelsregister HRB 19225, Amtsgericht Stendal), which acts solely as the app store distributor. aLIVE-Service GmbH is not a party to this agreement and has no responsibility for the App's content, features, or support — that responsibility belongs entirely to OriginLeap.

3. What OriginLeap Is

OriginLeap is a 75-day tracker built around seven daily habits — workout, steps, water, sleep, language practice, alcohol, and diet. It runs entirely on your device: there's no account to create and no server storing your data. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use OriginLeap. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

5. Not Medical Advice

OriginLeap tracks habits — it doesn't diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. The habit targets in the app are informed by published research, cited where you'll see them, but they're general guidelines, not guidance for your specific situation. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, changing your diet, or making significant changes to your sleep or alcohol habits, especially if you have an existing health condition.

6. Your Content

Habit logs, notes, and progress photos you create in the App are yours. They're stored only on your device — we never see them, host them, or have access to them. You're responsible for backing them up (e.g., via your device's own backup) if you want to keep them past a reinstall or a lost device.

7. Subscriptions (OriginLeap Plus)

8. Your Right of Withdrawal

If you're a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a contract for digital content or services without giving a reason. Because the Plus subscription is sold entirely through the App Store, Apple — not OriginLeap — operates the purchase interface where this right is exercised, including any electronic withdrawal mechanism required under applicable law. See Apple's terms and your device's purchase confirmation for the specifics that apply to your purchase. This right doesn't apply once you've expressly agreed to immediate performance and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has started, which is a common condition for instant digital access.

9. Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, OriginLeap reads step count, workout duration, and sleep data to pre-fill your daily log. This access is read-only — the App never writes to your Health data — and you can revoke it anytime in Settings → Health. See the Privacy Policy for more.

10. Acceptable Use

Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App; don't use it in a way that violates any law; don't attempt to interfere with how it functions on your or anyone else's device.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, logo, and content (other than data you enter yourself) belong to OriginLeap. Using the App doesn't give you any ownership rights in it beyond the limited license to use it on your own devices per Apple's standard license terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any habit target or citation is complete or current. Research gets updated; we do our best to keep targets accurate but can't guarantee it. Nothing in this section limits any statutory warranty rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by agreement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OriginLeap isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any health outcome from following a habit target. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Termination

You can stop using the App anytime by deleting it, which also deletes all locally stored data. We may discontinue or modify the App at any time; if that affects an active Plus subscription, App Store billing terms still apply to any period already paid for.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you're a consumer, this choice of law doesn't override any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
